Administrative Assistant

Love supporting fast-paced teams and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant who brings exceptional organization, professionalism, and a proactive mindset to support a dynamic culinary and hospitality team.

LOCATION: Portland, OR

SALARY: $25-$30/hr

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 20-30 hours per week

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Provide administrative support to the Executive Chef and culinary team
• Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
• Maintain inventory records and coordinate supply ordering
• Handle emails, phone calls, correspondence, and administrative documentation
• Assist with expense tracking, budgeting support, and financial administration
• Coordinate meetings, special projects, and internal events
• Maintain accurate spreadsheets, reports, and organizational records
 • Serve as a liaison between culinary operations and other departments

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience, preferably within hospitality, events, or a fast-paced service environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively
 • Professional demeanor with a proactive and customer-service-focused approach

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Position performs general office and administrative duties in a professional hospitality environment
• Requires prolonged sitting, computer work, and occasional walking throughout event and kitchen spaces
 • Ability to lift and carry office supplies or materials up to 20 pounds occasionally
