Assistant CNC Lead
Job Description
Step into a key leadership role on the shop floor, supporting production operations and helping drive a high-performing machining team.
SALARY: $33-$36/hr. DOE
LOCATION: Sherwood, OR
SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday | 6:00am-2:30pm

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support the Production Supervisor in coordinating daily shop floor operations and workflow
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, assisting machinists with setups, troubleshooting, and quality issues
- Monitor production output, ensure work is completed to schedule, and address bottlenecks proactively
- Train and mentor team members on machining practices, safety standards, and company expectations
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Serve as a communication link between production, engineering, and leadership teams
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in a lead or assistant lead role, with experience managing teams of up to 15
- Strong CNC machining background with 3 to 4 axis experience
- Working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- Proven ability to lead and support teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop floor environment.
