WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE
  • High-Mix Environment: No two days are the same — work on a diverse range of short-run parts across multiple materials and setups.
  • Skilled Trade Work: Operate CNC lathes and VMC machines on meaningful components where precision and craftsmanship actually matter.
  • Grow Into a Long-Term Role: This position starts as a temp opportunity with a clear path to permanent hire for the right candidate.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and work instructions to ensure parts meet customer and engineering requirements.
  • Perform machine setups, manage tooling and fixturing, adjust machine offsets, and complete hand G-code edits as needed to maintain production efficiency.
  • Machine a variety of materials, including mild steel, aluminum, weldments, and cast iron, while safely handling large components using jib and overhead cranes.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience, including setup and operation; 5 years preferred
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T
  • Experience with Fanuc and/or Haas control panels
  • Ability to perform own setups, tooling changeouts, and fixturing
  • Proficiency in technical math and mechanical concepts; ability to use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore micrometers, and height gauges
  • Experience with Mastercam X8, NC-CAM 7, or similar CAM software is a plus
