Conflicts Analyst | Direct-Hire

SALARY: $90,000-$100,000/yr. DOE
LOCATION: Portland, OR | Hybrid | Fully Remote Option
SCHEDULE: Full-time | Direct Hire

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Perform independent conflicts analysis for new business matters by reviewing conflict reports, validating information from multiple sources, and collaborating with attorneys and legal staff to resolve potential conflicts.
Analyze conflicts for attorney and staff onboarding, maintaining confidentiality while utilizing ethical walls and screening procedures throughout the hiring process.
Draft, distribute, and track conflict waivers while ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation.
Maintain and improve the firm's conflicts database by correcting party information, identifying related entities, reconciling data, and recommending system enhancements.
Provide support and training for conflicts and intake software, answer user questions, and partner with internal teams to improve workflows and department processes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum of 3-5 years of independent conflicts analysis experience within a large law firm.
Experience with and conflicts database management is highly preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage highly confidential information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across attorneys, legal staff, HR, and other departments while managing multiple priorities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and using standard office equipment. The ability to occasionally lift and carry files or office materials up to 20 pounds and move throughout the office to attend meetings, training sessions, and access records is required.
