Job Description
Do you have great customer service skills? Come help create memorable events while working at one of Vancouver’s most historic community organizations.
SALARY: $20.00 per hour
LOCATION: Vancouver, WA
SCHEDULE: Part Time, Hours vary (Monthly Schedule), Must be available evenings, weekdays, and weekends, Times start at 6 a.m. or end at 1 a.m., Long-term

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Set up and tear down event spaces, including tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment, and safety materials.
- Welcome guests, provide information, and ensure facility rules are followed.
- Inspect facilities and equipment before, during, and after events and report any maintenance concerns.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment throughout events.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Prior work experience in event set up, banquets, or catering preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle unexpected situations professionally.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move furniture, event equipment, and other items up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks in indoor and outdoor environments.
