SALARY: $31+/hr. DOE

LOCATION: Tigard, OR

SCHEDULE: Full-time; Monday-Friday | 5:00am-1:30pm

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Fabricate, weld, bond, bend, machine, and assemble complex plastic components and systems from engineered drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and work orders using a wide range of thermoplastics, including PVC, CPVC, PVDF, HDPE, UHMW, Polycarbonate, Acrylic, PEEK, PTFE, and PFA.
  • Operate fabrication and machining equipment—including manual mills, lathes, routers, drills, saws, drill presses, and plastic welding tools—while applying plastic joining methods such as butt welding, socket fusion, pure bond, and adhesive bonding techniques.
  • Inspect, measure, troubleshoot, and verify fabricated parts using precision measuring instruments and gauges to ensure compliance with quality standards, dimensional requirements, and customer specifications in both shop and field environments.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation, communicate production and material issues, support team training and leadership initiatives, and promote a safe, professional, and quality-focused work environment while performing additional duties as assigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 6 years of manufacturing and fabrication experience in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated experience fabricating thermoplastic components through welding, bonding, gluing, bending, machining, and assembly processes.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineered drawings, bills of materials, and technical specifications, with hands-on experience operating manual mills, lathes, hand and power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time-management skills with the ability to work independently, meet production deadlines, and safely perform work in manufacturing, clean room, customer-site, and hazardous environments; valid driver’s license required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and use of hands to operate fabrication equipment, tools, and precision measuring instruments throughout the workday. Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and safely work in manufacturing, clean room, customer-site, and other industrial environments while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
