SALARY: $70k-$90k/yr. DOE
LOCATION: Portland, OR
SCHEDULE: Full-time; 40 hrs/wk. | Hybrid opportunity after training

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Draft, edit, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.

  • Support attorneys with discovery, document review, legal research, and case preparation.

  • Manage court filings, litigation deadlines, calendars, and case files.

  • Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors regarding case-related matters.

  • Assist with both substantive litigation work and the administrative responsibilities that support a busy Commercial Litigation, Appellate, and Real Estate practice.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2+ years of litigation experience including document drafting in a law firm environment; commercial litigation experience strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, grammar, and document formatting skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, electronic filing systems, and legal technology tools.

  • Self-motivated, proactive professional committed to continuous development and delivering high-quality, client-focused legal support.




PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer, as well as frequent use of standard office equipment. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and move files or materials (up to 15 pounds) and perform tasks that involve reaching, bending, and repetitive hand movements.
