QUALITY CONTROL FINAL INSPECTOR

LOCATION: Greater Portland Area

SALARY: $22-$33/hr. DOE

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, Day Shift | Temp-to-Hire




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform final inspection of precision machined components and assemblies prior to shipment
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges
• Determine and apply appropriate inspection methods to ensure parts meet specifications
• Document inspection results and complete required reports and paperwork
• Communicate quality concerns with production, engineering, and quality teams in real time
• Maintain safe operations by following company procedures and safety standards




WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control inspection within a manufacturing or machining environment
• Experience performing final inspections on precision machined components required
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100 standards strongly preferred
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing environments preferred
• Proficiency using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen or permanent resident)




PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Requires the ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the facility, as well as lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
