Job Description


Take ownership of quality systems and continuous improvement in a precision manufacturing environment where your expertise makes a direct impact.



SALARY: $34-$38/hr. DOE

LOCATION: Tigard, OR

SCHEDULE: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM



WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS ROLE
  • Lead Quality Initiatives: Own and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System while helping maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Be a Key Business Partner: Work closely with customers, suppliers, auditors, and production teams to solve quality challenges and improve performance.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to reduce defects and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Support Advanced Manufacturing: Make an impact on precision components produced for aerospace, semiconductor, and other high-tech industries.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including documentation, procedures, and audit readiness.
  • Lead internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits while managing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Investigate customer complaints, supplier quality issues, nonconforming materials, and returns using proven root cause analysis methods.
  • Analyze quality metrics, calibration programs, scrap, yield, and process data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives that improve quality and efficiency.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, quality audits, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and manufacturing quality systems.
  • Knowledge of calibration programs, metrology, GD&T, engineering drawings, and measurement systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP systems, technical documentation, and data analysis.
  • ASQ CQE/CQA certification, Six Sigma certification, or experience in aerospace, semiconductor, medical device, or precision manufacturing is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use a computer for extended periods while performing audits, inspections, documentation, and data analysis. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds and safely work throughout the manufacturing facility while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
