Warehouse Associate
Job Description
Growing wholesale tire distributor is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join their dynamic team. Take the next step in your logistics career by becoming a part of a stable company that offers great benefits and room for advancement.
SALARY: $19/hr.
LOCATION: Portland, OR
SCHEDULE: Full-time; Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm | Sat 9:00am-2:00pm

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Identify and pull orders within a warehouse
Utilize an iPad to complete orders in accordance with shipping urgency
Organize and transport orders to specific staging areas prior to shipment
Operate a variety of equipment to move materials including sit-down & standup forklifts, bail clamps and order pickers
Assist with unloading incoming deliveries
Maintain a high level of efficiency to ensure shipping schedules are met
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
High School Diploma preferred
Individuals with minimum 1 year of past warehouse experience
Inventory management and shipping/receiving experience
Prior forklift experience is preferred
Enthusiastic individuals that are dependable and have a desire to advance their career
Individuals who can maintain a positive attitude while working within a fast-paced environment
Automotive experience is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position works in a warehouse environment and requires the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Extensive periods of unloading incoming deliveries may be required each week.
